A Chaplain can provide spiritual support, helping skaters cope with the stress, and find purpose beyond the sport. They offer comfort during injuries, guidance for a balanced lifestyle, and mentorship that fosters resilience, integrity, and community—helping skaters thrive on and off the board.
Chaplain, Dave Jonsson
Dave is a professional skateboarder with an incredible story of surviving a plane crash in the mountains of Squamish, BC. He loves Jesus and has 15 years of experience in pastoral leadership. As pro skateboard chaplain Dave will:

Tampa Pro
Dave partnered with a local ministry called Ride Nature at the Tampa Pro skateboard contest to minister to the professional athletes. He lead a chapel service Sunday morning teaching from God's word.
SLS Super Crown
Chaplain Dave was at the Street League Skateboarding Super Crown in Sao Paulo, Brazil serving the athletes and sharing his story about how Jesus changed his life forever.
